Traipsing around in his original Beast Wars body was fun for a while, but Rattrap felt himself at a distinct disadvantage without a more vehicular form of transportation, and he used his engineering smarts to get the long forgotten Giant Transwarp Chamber to produce a quantum surge that would return him to his beloved TransMetal form.  Of course, Blackarachnia in her poor timing gets caught in the blast as well, but now he can shoot his favorite flying Maximal target with even greater accuracy and frequency.  Plus, he's got to look good for the ladies.
