This is, of course, all Lost Episode stuff. The Reformatted body was a piece of shit, so Rattrap used the Jusenkyo virus to revert to his original form.  No longer being forced to yell "I am transformed" has made his stop acting like a baby, and has allowed him to return to his original kick ass character.  Unfortunately for Blackarachnia, the Jusenkyo virus mutated... but that's another story. He likes shooting at NightScream almost as much as he likes shooting Vehicons.  Go figure.
