So I've been thinking.
Posted Oct 16, 2001 - 2:12:47

I mean, yeah... I've been thinking a lot. Recently, I've realized that I need to just relax a bit more, and enjoy what I have. I've been really stressed out lately, and well... it's not helping. I've been sitting here waiting for that 'one thing' that'll make me happy, whilst ignoring what I have.

I need to stop doing that.

Anyways, I went and found a copy of my old online Journal... you know, what this sort of replaced (Anyone remember when "News From the Front" was just a site update section? Anyone? Bah). I was reading about the events of my life in 1999 and 2000... wow, there were a lot of ups and downs... and I realized, that at my highest point... I really didn't have that much more than what I have now. I just appreciated it more. So, I think I'm going to turn things around, enjoy myself more, and not get bogged down in these details that seem to occupy me constantly. I can't change what's happening in the world right now... I can only keep living.

And I intend to.

While I'm updating, anyone else remember Homeworld? It was an attempt to build a content based portal that I did with Brian Miles a long time ago. Well, back in December of 1999 I was supposed to launch Homeworld v4.0 - an improved, and cooler version of the site. And while I started it... we scrapped the idea, and eventually ended up ditching the site. Well, while I was sorting through old web files, I found something rather interesting... The "in process" design for the Homeworld v4.0 mainpage. Now, I warn you, this was never going to be the final design (It only looks good in 800x600), it was a basic setup I was putting together to show Brian what I had in mind. Take a look at it here: //www.trhonline.com/homeworld/. Scary, neh?

Of course, what's scarier is that if you go to Homeworld's old URL, a porn site now occupies that space (the irony does not escape me). Boy, I hope Yahoo updated their link for the Tosa East Players. ;)
