Anyone else remember !mpact?

!mpact comics... I loved them. Heck, who'd think that spelling Impact with a "!" would be so... well... yeah.

I liked them. And I've only met one other person who agrees... it's sad really. I mean, the comics have a rated value of only $1.00... Because hardly anyone collects them. But you know what? There are very few series out there that can compare to the story telling in "The Comet", "The Fly", and the "Black Hood". Sure, "Legend of the Shield" sucked, but it had some damned fine titles. And yes, I'm well aware that they're just revivals of the old Pep and Archie comics characters, and that Archie revived them as "Red Circle" - but it's not the same. !mpact gave them new origins, and while the super powers and some of the names were the same, the !mpact characters were really seperate characters completely.

Dammit.

I liked those books. (But then the Crucible sucked it up, and destroyed the universe, and it all went kaput).
