People are dumb.
Posted May 27, 2002 - 1:25:13

Okay, so I ran across this website: "http://www.socionics.com/". Always interested in personality profiles, I looked up iNFp - what I test as on the Keirsey tests. I read their profile...

...and it was dead wrong.

Since I know Keirsey uses a little different definitions than the Meyers-Briggs tests, I decided to try to find out what my personality was on *that* site's scale.

None are.

The closest was the one for "ISFp", but even that definition has some glaring holes... yeesh. This brings me to my point - how many 'educated professionals' are out there, telling us what "we" think, when they really have zero clue. I mean, Keirsey in this case is the exception - the iNFp description is spot on for me. But to think that there are professionals consulting such flawed definitions like the ones at Socionics.com frightens the hell out of me.

End Rant
