So, I went to a Rock Show last night... |

...at HigherGround... meh. I've lived in this town for three years, on or next to the campus, and it was my first time at Sneakers/HigherGround.
It was fun to go to a show not filled with cigarette smoke.
In any case, six bands played - and about half of them were pretty good. Return to Sender rocked (and I know Faery bought their CD), Eastern Standard was pretty good, and Silvering rocked. Long Time Forgotten was alright, they knew how to play - but they had the same problem most traditional Punk bands have: All of their stuff sounded the same to me.
The other two bands, Heartfelt Whisper and Moon Over Briggston did not impress me. And I know Faery's a fan of Briggston, but... well... they sucked. I wanted to jab the eyes out of the lead singer repeatedly.
All in all, it was a fun night.
