Back from Vacation...

So, I'm back. And still mildly ill. For all who were concerned, it's not West Nile everyone, this I have deemed. It's something much more annoying - a cold from hell. Actually, 90% of the symptoms are gone, I'm just still coughing up glup... and I must have a sore in my throat or something, because I'm getting blood in the glup. I am, however, assuming I'm getting better by the fact that it just looks like their's more blood, because I'm coughing up less actual stuff - and that the swelling in my throat has gone down CONSIDERABLY in the past three days.

I had a very good time in the Northwoods, all things considered - I will have a new photo gallery up from this year as soon as I get Erin her camera back (she lent it to me, but did not lend me the cables to get the images OFF the camera - so I need to get the digital camera back to her so I can show you guys the shots).

I was sick for most of the week, unfortunately. Erin came with on Saturday, so we got to spend some time together (even though she went home on Sunday). On Tuesday I had to sit out of the ballgame at Lost Lake because I felt sick - but I did get to play Thursday.

I love playing at Forester's/Vandervort Memorial Ballpark. See, I suck at baseball. I really do. But when I play Softball there, I don't feel bad when I suck - and that's the glory of it. It's fun really.

In any case, I had a good time, and that's all that matters.

It's raining pretty hard right now. I love thunderstorms - when I'm safely inside that is. They're very relaxing, and comforting.

Yeah... I think I'm going to listen to the rain for a while.
