It's not a good day to be named John and be famous... |

Wow, both Johnnie Cash and John Ritter are dead. Yipes.
Wow. I'm actually more stunned by Ritter's death though - even though most places aren't reporting on it. I mean, I think no one was surprised by the death of Johnnie Cash - I mean, he's Johnnie Cash. Not exactly a spring chicken, if you know what I mean. No. While it's sad that the Man in Black died, it's not unexpected. Ritter though wasn't that old. I mean, he was middle aged, but not really all that old per say. And, really, how much does it suck that he died on the same day as Johnnie Frickin' Cash? I mean, I don't think most people will notice until after the weekend... wow.
I guess that's just how it goes though, y'know what I mean? The endless cycle continues, and no matter how famous you are - the reaper eventually comes a'knockin'.
Tonight I'm having Dinner with Erin's family. Excited? Not really. It's not that I don't want to go - it's just that it doesn't make me jump up and down and go "Whoo-hoo!". You know, like Six Flags would or something. I'll have a good time, so it's not like I'm bitter or anything... just bored out of my skull at this exact moment.
Nerdom reigns lately - it's nice being back at school, where I can easily find someone to have a long rant about videogame systems with. I missed being able to do that when I was living with my parents for those three long months...
I'm also hoping I get sued by the RIAA. Why? Because I want to go get on talk shows or something, and even though I don't actively file share anymore, I think it would be fun. Whooo-Lawsuit! But then again, I don't know if they'd be willing to sue me, me not being a 12 year old girl and all...
