TRHOnline.com is back!
Posted Nov 3, 2003 - 18:03:36

The following things are still broken:
ToDoList in the TRHCommunity App.

The following things had to be MADE to work:
TRHCommunity App.
TRHMessenger
The Message Board
The Craptacular Web
Fu Rants Reply Forms

Okay, so you messenger users who want to recover your old messages, and your old notepad contents... e-mail me or shoot me a TRHMessage. We backed everything up before I wiped them, so I can restore anything you want. For the message board and craptacular web, you can no longer reply to old messages (it was either leave them unreplyable or delete them...). This will FINALLY let the J*** M**** thread DIE.

Woot.

I still have to fix the OA site, and I'm getting to that tonite or tomorrow. We'll see. In any case, I don't really have anything else to say at the moment (other than that I get to see Michio Kaku speak on Thursday, and you don't, neener neener neener). I have a neat idea for TRHOnline.com 6.0 - but I don't know if I can pull it off. I'm going to start working on it, and if I can't... well, then I'll release it as a "product" and get goons to download it. That's right, I want to design a site with a database driven backbone. It'll be neat (and allow you to reply to EVERYTHING... hehehe...cough...).

I know I talk about making the audience the show a lot, and I've been freakishly obsessed with online communities since Brian and I launched the old Homeworld site back in the day, but I think I can make it work. I mean, I've succeeded on the "build the community" (On DC big time, and a little here), so now I want to work on building a product for others to use to build their own sites. Once I'm done with the backbone, I'll apply it to DC hopefully as well... Although it'll be easier to apply it to DC than here I'm beginning to think...

But I'm pipe-dream rambling again, so I'll stop now. Hope to have everything back and running again soon... woot.
