Everyone else should go buy it too, because, you know - it's a neat calendar and stuff. Or something...

Anyways, I've been doing pretty good today, and I've had a lot of fun. Cookies, family, and presents tend to have that effect on me.

It's nice seeing my extended family - as I only see them once a year it seems. All together, it was a pleasant evening, full of good cheer and stuff...

I know, this is a change from the angst that usually occupies this space, but hey - it's a holiday. And I get mushy on holidays.

Last night, my family dug up Trivial Persuit Genus II.

Not the Genus I we used to play, or the Genus III we usually play - but Genus II. Why? Because we never play it. We now remember why we never play it. Why? Genus II is crap. Crappity crap crap. Questions are either brain-numbingly easy, Impossibly hard, or just plain wrong (we proved a question wrong... it was great - and we proved it was wrong in 1984, when the game was produced too). Never play Genus II people, NEVER PLAY IT. Yeah. If you want to play a "classic" version of Trivial Persuit, just play Genus I. Amen.
