Running isn't that Fun I've Decided - but I'll Probably Do it Again |

So, today I went out and attempted to run a mile. While a good idea in concept, in practice it provided to be a different experience.
Okay, so it wasn't that bad - but you guys know that I just like whining. *grin*
I actually managed to run a little over three quarters of the way, which I'm a little proud of. I've never been able to run a mile in my life, so the fact that I failed on the first attempt is not that big of a deal. Oddly enough, I think I'll try to do it again. Eventually I will be able to run the whole way without having to walk any portion of it, which would be mind blowing for me.
Yes, I know, it's a sad statement to how out of shape I am - but my goal for this summer is to reverse that...
...or at least be in a little better shape than I am now.
It's been rainy most of the day here. I went out to do the run at the first break in the drizzling, and it started again about five minutes after I got back home. The rain has paused again, but I don't know how long it will last. I love the smell of rain though, it just makes me feel happy. A cool breeze wafts through my window, and whenever the rain breaks I can hear birds chirping. It's just neat.
I've been goofing around blowing bubbles for the last twenty minutes (hence the photo), and I should really stop before I fill my room with soap drops. I'm using the leftover bubbles I have from the wedding Friday, and am probably having more fun than what should be legally allowed. It's been a good couple of days really.
