Ah, it's the shortest day of the year...

Happy Yule everybody, as the sun lays low on this interesting day...

...so, I've been working on getting my Dad's computer running, and it keeps overheating because the system isn't telling itself to turn the cooling fan on. I eventually had it up on ice blocks, with a fan blowing on it... with still no success...

Anyways, I got all of my grades back finally, and it looks like yet another semester of the B... I did the math, and my GPA this semester is going to be a 3.02 or so. Nothing to dance around about, but nothing to worry about either.

*shrug*

Ah well. And someone explain to Erika that the Eastern timezone is only one hour off from the central timezone, and not two... yeesh. You'd think that Ms. Globetrekker would be able to keep the easy stuff straight. (I take the jab because I don't think she has internet access right now, so I have no problems making fun of her. *grin*)

Right now, my mother is saying how much she dislikes Bing Crosby's voice... oh, what an interesting moment...
