There's someone killing herself in my Japanese workbook...
Posted Feb 23, 2005 - 15:23:45

...I'm serious. On page 72 of my Japanese workbook, there's a cartoon of a girl about to jump off the roof of a building...

Japanese people are weird.

Anyways, I was the only person in my Religions and Morality class to get the last question on our quiz right. I still only did so-so, but I do have that little trophy to hold up and be proud about. Yeah, I'm a very small person in some ways, I know. I've been not updating for no particular reason, and I really don't know why. Again, I'm going to make the empty promise that I'll make that change, and we'll all forget about it tomorrow.

What I find is interesting is sitting in my Religions and Morality class and listening to a lecture from the Christian perspective. It's not a pro-Christian lecture, mind you -- it's just that the professor sometimes assumes that the class will know what she's talking about sometimes when she leaves something implied about Christianity. And while many get it, I frankly am left with some things flying over my head. It's mildly frustrating, and I'm always relieved when we go back and talk about the other faiths.

Geh. I hope I did alright on the test.

I went to the Student Senate presidential debates today, and am on the fence. I have the choice between an arrogant elitist who has experience, or an openminded, nice person who has practically none. These people drive me nuts. Maybe I just won't pick a President on the ballot or something. *shrug*

I'm going to go back to checking my e-mail...
