Brainspike Announcement, and other stuffs.
Posted Sep 1, 2005 - 20:07:52

Hall Raiser ShirtSo, first things first: Doctor Who. Consider this the official announcement for the Ninth Doctor Brainspike. It will be held starting at 1:00 PM, Saturday the 3rd, in the Katharine Thomas Television Lounge. There's a nice, brand new, big screen HD-TV there. I promise a good time, and lots of Time-Lordy-ness. Expect to be there for about 12-13 hours. Word.

Spent today moving peoples stuffs into buildings - mostly moving random people up four floors into Putnam. I will continue to do the same thing tomorrow - but likely with KT people. I also had an interesting conversation about the nature of God with a girl whose name I have honestly forgotten (and I feel a little guilty about the forgetting-the-name part) while sitting around between moving people. It was, as always, an interesting experience to hear another perspective.

I recieved an e-mail from Terence today, reminding me of a song I've been trying to keep myself from singing due to it's being in incredibly bad taste. See, about five years ago we randomly created a song which was effectively mocking the tendency of certain city planners (of French Descent) to place their towns in bad locations. The chorus (and most of the song) is "Only an idiot builds a town in a valley by a raging river." Yeah, like I said, horribly bad taste.

Speaking of which, Erika may end up getting called out there in a week or so as a firefighter - and that's looking even more likely everyday. That is, how you say, crappy? Yes. Crappy.

Note: I fixed the Edit Post script that I screwed up the other day - sorry about that to anyone who tried to edit one of their own Blog entries
