So, last time I posted in this space we talked about LightHive - and by "we" I mean "I" because really, I'm the only one talking. Well, since then LightHive has been delisted from the almighty Google. All hail our Googleriffic Overlords. Now to contact every other search engine that ever existed. Ever. Geh.
I need to write a Craptacular Web entry on this.
Anyway, things have been pretty slow around here. There's a neat piece on the TABOR forum Erika spoke at - you can see her sitting just to the left of the podium, and if you squint really hard you can see me in my red bandana in the first row.
As I mentioned briefly las time, I've been working on a table top RPG lately, and I begin play testing it this week. It's entitled "Super Awesome Action Heroes," and is based on, well, Action films. The manual is very, very, very prototypical at the moment, but if you want to glance through the portions which exist for the beta, you can look here. I still have an open slot in my Saturday campaign (I have three players, four is my maximum), if anyone is still interested. I'll also be playtesting a quick session tomorrow at the No Brand Con gaming committee meeting.
I had a realization today about this site - something I found quite amusing. Back in the mid-nineties, I used to connect to BBSes, and would play games and join the local community. When I finally tried to sort out what this website is for, I finally realized it: We've (accidentally) captured the spirit of the old school BBS I used to dial into as a kid. I guess I'll have to start adding the equivalent of Door games now...
That's sort of neat, y'think?
