My Dumbest Short Film Ever |

So in a moment of absolute boredom the other night, I took out my camera and started shooting random things around my room... and it led me to filming the most ridiculously strange short film I've ever made.
I call it Ridiculously Stupid Toy Battle, and for some reason it amuses me on levels it really shouldn't. It depicts a strange battle between a couple of transformers... and a wind up snowman. It's only about a minute and a half long, but for some reason it amuses me greatly.
For toys, it uses Beast Machines Spy Streak, Obsidian, and Jetstorm... oh yeah, and that snowman. The soundtrack comes from the Danzig "classic" Mother '93.
Yeah, I warned you, the whole thing is absolutely dumb.
On the upside, it only took me a half hour to film and edit - so it's not like I spent a lot of time on it. I think it's okay to produce total wastes of time as long as they don't actually take up that much of my time to produce in the first place.
Or something. Whatever.
Tomorrow is Chris's last day in town. He, Derek and I are probably going to spend most of it hanging out because of it. Frankly, it will probably be a long time before I get to see Chris again, so yeah... it's a bit important. Which is too bad that I can't go to Milwaukee's first (tiny) Anime convention which is on the same day. Who knows how that thing will turn out, but eh... *shrug*
It means No Brand Con won't sound as silly claiming to be "Wisconsin's Premiere Anime Convention" as they won't also be the only one as well anymore. I think they're calling this new event "SnowCon," it's one day, and it's free. Again, I wish I could go - but such is life.
Needless to say, spending what time I can with one of my best friends is a bit more important to me.
Man is it gloomy out today though...

I'm amused that I read the title as "ridiculously stupid toy bottle".
That would have been a very different short film I think.
