YouTube Roundup!
Posted Oct 20, 2008 - 15:59:21

So, I didn't feel like producing a Vlog this week -- but rather than prevent you from enjoying some video goodness, I thought I'd share some of my recent favorites I've run across on Youtube.

First off, in what can only be described as the best example of Glenn Danzig being Glenn Danzig, a bizarre video from lord-knows-when where he shows off his "book collection." It shows exactly why Glenn Danzig has been hilarious to me my whole life:
There's no other way to describe that other than "Glenn Danzig-y" I guess.

Something else I've watched half a dozen times is the "Literal Video Version" of A-ha's "Take on Me." In this the regular lyrics of the song have been replaced with a version that just constantly narrates what's happening on screen. In the end, it's a hilarious rendition:
See what I mean?

For those of you who need to melt your brain today, I present for no reason other than "Your brain needed melting" the Tanaka Chigai Remix of HalCali's "Starberry Chips." Again, if your brain starts melting, just relax and remember "It's meant to do that."
Now don't you just feel better?

I know I do.

i love the a-ha video. it makes me happy. plus, it's very quotable. "IS THIS YOUR HOUSE?"
The A-ha video is quite fun. You know I'm more of a fan of the Strawberry Chips Remix. It's a sad day because I couldn't get all the way through it. It's possible that it had something to do with not wanting to wake my roommate and her boyfriend sleeping in the next room. Poor excuses I know.
