So after four days in Milwaukee, I'm now back home in Lafayette. I spent the last three weekends away from home, and needless to say, I'm more than happy to be back. Don't get me wrong, between visiting family and friends, I had a lot of fun these last few weeks, but the very nature of travel is downright exhausting sometimes.

I'm a person who usually enjoys driving. One of my favorite things is hitting the open road and just going... which is why you need to understand the following: I have no desire to get on the freeway any time soon.

Last year when I came home from Thanksgiving, I did so on a Saturday instead of a Sunday, and the roads were fairly normal. What I didn't count on was just how many people would be traveling on I-65 the Sunday after Thanksgiving. What is normally a four hour trip turned into a five to six hour trip. Visibility was terrible, the roads were packed, and it was an overall miserable experience.

After all of that, I'm happy to say I won't have to hit the road like that until Christmas weekend, and that is still just under a month away.

My mad comic rush has come to an end as well, as I Hate November is finishing up this week in UnCONventional, and I'm up to date in The Chronicles of Crosarth. This means I'm not always pushing to get one of those done (which also means I should be able to blog more often).

With my lack of travel, and a little more time to breathe with my comics though, I think my plan for this weekend is to lie around and do absolutely nothing. I'm amazingly good at doing absolutely nothing, and I think it's about time I went back to doing said task.

I-65 between Chicago and Indy is what people refer to as "Purgatory." I am very, very happy that I don't have to drive that stretch of road in the foreseeable future.

It's not so bad. I mean sure, it's boring as heck, but the wind farm looks pretty neat.

Hated the stretch for two reasons:

1. Outside of Lafayette, there's nothing. There's a wind farm, yes, but that's about it.

2. The undeniable fact that Indiana people don't know how to drive on an interstate road.

Now now, that Wind farm is outside of Wolcott... Or hpwever you spell it. It's a good half hour before Lafayette. Also, the whole thing has gotten better traffic wise since the patched the gigantic car sized potholes
