The Day of the Cheeseburger, and other such nonsense

So I'm writing this update as I'm nodding off to bed. The vicious murder of my tree aside, I've been having a rather good time these last few days. Yesterday night I ended up playing Halo 2 again at Derek's, and I'm actually beginning to develop a little skill. I'm still the worst player of the bunch, but at least I'm not completely sucking anymore. Derek's also talking about having some sort of shindig on New Years, which should be fun.

Today I went and had lunch with Heather/FaErY today at George Webb's. We were there for a few hours, and were able to play quite a bit of catch up on what's going on in each other's lives. It was good to see her, and while I don't know if I'll have time to see her again before I leave back for Eau Claire, I'll definitely try to hang with her again before I go.

*shrug*

I did end of having McDonalds for dinner too -- so two cheeseburgers in one day. I think Erika will be yelling at me for that when/if she reads this post, hehe.

I've been watching episodes of The West Wing tonight, and man do I love my Season 3 DVDs... Season 3 contains some of my favorite episodes. Really, in my opinion, the Bartlet re-election campaign is one of my favorite storylines in the entire series. Is good stuff, really.

Of course, that's means it's 4:14 AM and I haven't gone to sleep yet -- and I intended on going to bed at like midnight or something... yeesh. That's it. I'm going to bed. Right now.
