We Squash Out a New Short Film, and Life Continues

So, last weekend a bunch of us went out, dressed in strange clothes, and meandered around Water Street in an attempt to amuse ourselves by confusing the drunks. You may be asking yourself "Well Trae, how is that different than normal for you?" Well, this time we brought cameras along and decided to videotape the escapade. So, in what is the longest video I've ever released into the wild (at nine and a half minutes), I present to you The Third Squashing of America. It stars Topher (Scrotorious on the Forum), Ka-Thunc!, Myself, Beefallo, Calvsie, and the various people we ran into that night.

It was a very strange experience, to say the least. At two points we ran into a pack of completely unrelated ninja - I am so not kidding. This is possibly the strangest thing I have ever put online, and that's saying something.

I've been having issues with YouTube trying to put this one online, so I've just given up and used iFilm for the embedded player. Hopefully I can get the YouTube issues sorted out soon though. I tend to like their interface a little better.

(Update: YouTube now fixed, and embedded player switched over to YouTube)

Anywho - you should check that out. In other news, I've completed my first week of school for this new semester (I have no Friday classes this term). Honestly, it's nice being back. Mostly. Eh... I've been good though, and have been getting the work I need to get done completed (yeah, I've already written and turned in a paper - I'm taking some fairly serious courses for me right now). Eh.

My birthday is on Saturday, in which I get to celebrate surviving for 26 years of Midwestern life. I have no significant plans for my birthday - the date for me has always prompted private contemplation (or in the years of my not being single, private celebration), but I honestly haven't had a party since I turned 18 - and I see no need to change that. I will just be happy as long as I can make it through September 9th without anything disasterous happening...

...yeah, I know, with my luck that may be asking for a little too much... so maybe I'll just ask that only small disasters occur on my birthday.

*grin*

No matter the case, right now I'm barely able to keep my eyes open... which is prompting me to think that perhaps I should crawl into the very inviting bed nary ten feet to my left.

...yes, I think that's a very, very good idea.
