Art is Life! The last several days have been fairly ordinairy ones. My birthday came and went on Saturday - my numerical indicator of age ticked up a digit, and all proceeded according to the "no major disaster" prediction from a few days before. Other than the nice phone calls I recieved from a few family members and friends, it was pretty quiet... and that was fairly appreciated in all regards.

Today's image is what currently adorns my wall... "Art is Life!" indeed. This replaces the old phrase o' the wall "Art is Relative!"... which I have a photo of somewhere, but I don't feel like digging it up at the moment. Needless to say, it has a little more style this year...

Anyways, as stated before, nothing terribly exciting.

Something strange did occur today though, which I think I'll relay. When I got home from class, I was surprised to find a small folded piece of paper that had been slid under my door. On it was simply "To: Stephanie, Thanks Again [Heart] Mandi!" Out of curiousity I opened it up... and discovered a ten dollar bill.

Now, my levels of confusion are varied. First off, next to my door, in sizable letters, is my name. Trae spelled out does not look like Stephanie to me. Secondly, I live on an all male wing... why on earth would anyone make that sort of mistake?

But, they did make the mistake... and as there is no last name, I don't know what to do. I figure, I'll keep it aside for a day or so, and if someone shows up asking about it, I'll hand it over. After that though...

...free ten bucks for Trae!

So, that's what's been going on. Oh, by the way, I've added an Instant Messaging system to the site again. All you have to do to launch it is click "IM Client" in the info box. You may have to enable popups to make it work (and you're going to have a problem Kellin - sorry - I'm getting that fixed). But hey - it's an experiment that I pretty much did because I could. *grins*

ooo, ahhh, wow. etc. mur.
I'd have a problem because I occassionally use a Mac? My desktop's a PC, so no worries there.
Well, we've had a small problem with Macs (but I'm going to fix it) - but the issue for you might come from the apostrophe in your user name.
